Architecture and Interiors for safari camps, lodges and private residences — from first sketch through accredited architect completed concept designs to a finished space that belongs to its site.

Experience our Dunia Tours

Our Arusha showroom and workshop opened their doors this year March 2026 featuring factory tours, material demonstrations and hands-on sessions. We showcase to students, children and visitors that cleaning our environment and getting creative truly work together to change our planet.

At Dunia, our solution is simple: we take low-grade plastic waste, and create high-quality, recycled, products - large & small. We aim to close the loop between production and waste, making consumers active participants in environmental protection by giving a second life to waste plastics.

Our Story

It started one dirty waste plastic peice at a time and some community belief and support.

Dunia - The Sustainable Design Co. began in 2016 as a plastic waste clean-up effort in Arusha. Turning that waste into furniture came next, and our architecture/interiors oacjage followed as a natural extension of the same instinct: take what's already here and put it to better use at a larger scale.

A decade on, that instinct still runs through everything we build — whether it's a lodge set into a hillside or a beautiful chair.
